Latin UK Award (LUKAS) for Best Brazilian Act
In 2019, Alvorada received the Latin UK Award, otherwise known as ‘LUKAS’ for ‘Best Brazilian Act’. The band had a great night at the award ceremony bumping into friends and meeting new ones.
Focus Brasil award for Best Musical Group
In 2019, Alvorada also won the Focus Brasil award for ‘Best Musical Group’. Unfortunately the band couldn’t make it to the award ceremony due to a performance that night, but Jeremy picked up the award a few days later.
‘First Light’ receives five star review from Songlines Magazine
Alvorada’s debut album ‘First Light’ was awarded five stars on release from Songlines - the UK’s biggest world music magazine. The album’s title track was also selected for Songlines’s ‘Top of the World’ compilation CD and their channel on British Airways inflight entertainment.
‘Samba Azul’ receives five star review from Songlines Magazine
Samba Azul's eponymous debut album also attained a glowing five star review from Songlines Magazine.
Jeremy’s compositions have been featured on BBC Radio 3, Jazz FM, Resonance FM and Worldwide FM
He has also recorded for BBC TV and Globo TV (Brazil).
